The Opel OPC is a 1.6 Ecotec Turbo fuel car, with a power of 210 hp at 5850 rpm in the Nürburgring Edition version. The engine torque is 250 Nm – from 2250 to 5850 rpm at the maximum power, increasing to 280 Nm for few seconds in the overboost mode. It features a 6-speed gearbox and mechanic self-locking differential with multiple band brakes at the front axle. That is a “true” self-locking differential – not an electronic one – optimizing the traction together with the electronic control.
This car is equipped with Michelin racing semi-slick tires, 17” wheels, developed braking system with racing brake pads and Bilstein setup specific for the Nürburgring. More over it has two Recaro semi-anatomic seats.
